Rafflesia consueloae is a parasitic plant species of the genus Rafflesia that is endemic to the island of Luzon, Philippines. Its small blooms, upright perigone lobes, and distinctively cream-white disk surface, which is often devoid of processes, set it apart from all other Rafflesia species. Its small blossoms, with an average of 9.73 cm in diameter when fully grown, make it the smallest of the world's largest flowers.
Accidentally discovered in Pantabangan-Carranglan Watershed Forest Reserve (PCWFR) in Nueva Ecija, the Rafflesia consueloae was dubbed as the world's smallest Rafflesia flower. Unfortunately, it was already considered "critically endangered" due to forest degradation and development in PCWFR. (Paz-Alberto et al., 2015).

LUPAO, Nueva Ecija — Weather monitoring and forecasting through technology is helping farmers in Nueva Ecija manage their crops and increase productivity as the country deals with the impacts of climate change.
Knowing the chance of rain and the expected amount of rainfall just by checking a weather forecast dashboard on his phone makes it easier for Isagani Cajucom, a farmer in Lupao town, to manage the corn that he plants.
The tool, which is one of the components of Project SARAI (Smarter Approaches to Reinvigorate Agriculture as an Industry in the Philippines), helps farmers like Cajucom decide when to plant, irrigate, apply fertilizer and harvest.

The data that will be utilized in the database are the data results of various research studies that had been conducted by the Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management (ICCEM) in Central Luzon on biodiversity studies, LiDAR technology and phytoremediation. Moreover, secondary data on biodiversity assessment studies will also be gathered in various SUC’s, DENR in Region 3 as well as PENRO’s in Central Luzon
. The database will be maintained by ICCEM for the institute has 2 data servers where all the data will be stored.
